Recently divorced Thad Sitter (Clayne Crawford) works part-time at a weight loss clinic in southwest Missouri, but the real money comes from moonlighting as a go-between for his boss, weight loss guru Gayle Benson (Heather Roop), and her illegal diet pill suppliers. It's all working out until the suppliers raise their rates, and Gayle murders them, forcing Thad to dispose of the evidence. Meanwhile, Thad's ex-wife, Julie (M.J. Brackin), is fresh off a messy breakup with Sheriff Crane (Robert Leeshock) after realizing she's still in love with Thad. When the jealous Sheriff gets wind of the murders, he decides to implicate Thad in an attempt to have Julie all to himself. Now a threat to exposing Gayle's operation, Thad has no choice but to go into hiding as he is pursued by his former boss and the law. Terrible
Looks like all the friends and family members rated this movie 10 out of 1. The story is extremely dumb, chaotic the best. Not sure the director,writer or the actor/actresses are worse. I gave 1 star because there was no 0 or minus numbers.
Wow...that was BAD.
I've never written a review here before but I felt compelled to do my part to make sure nobody has to waste 90 minutes of their life like I did. Writing was brutal and I've never seen worse acting than M.J. Brackin's...ever.
Silliness for an hour and a half
Watching this film, I couldn't help but feel that it seems to reflect the idea of America that the outside world has - everyone in the USA quite willing and happy to shoot each other without fear or even thought of consequences. So perhaps that view of Americans is fairly true then. Which is very worrying to the rest of us. The acting went from average to dismal. The characters were bog standard. The plot was silly. The dialogue was silly. The music wasn't bad, but not something I would voluntarily give up 90 minutes of my life for. I want that time back.
Beyond stupid ending
Really slow, unlikely drama, limited acting, silly plot...avoid.
Waste of time
Everything was terrible... The acting, writing, story, etc... Don't waste your time with this. I don't write reviews often, but I felt I needed to warn others about how bad this movie is.
