Sean "THE KILLIN'" Dillon was on top of the world. Having become a decorated MMA champion, young Father and husband to a beautiful wife, the now retired fighter has hit the bottom. Having squandered his savings, suffered the loss of family through divorce, and perhaps worst of all, his self-respect. Although Sherry still loves Sean, she still believes that she and their son Mikey, are better off without him. Working at her Father's bar, she makes due. It's a hard, and difficult life, but at least she's happy. Sean is still around, a frequent patron, but not much exists between them now. One night at the bar, Sean starts a brawl, causing damage to the bar and hospitalizing the other patrons. Jake, a local detective and a close friend, arrives on the scene and threatens to arrest Sean unless he promises to turn his life around. great idea, no substance
What could have been a great plot is let down by some wooden acting. There is no depth or substance to the film and frequently actors look awkward and amateurish. As a previous reviewer said, there was a gathering of a few good actors but even they look lacking amongst the less experienced.

... with a better story, better execution, better actors ... The concept seems solid, but the flow of the story just doesn't work well. In my opinion, it was clearly capable of being a much better movie with the resources which appear to have been available. Over all feeling was someone gathered a few good actors and a group of others without acting skill, or experience, and then shot a movie without regard to whether or not elements of the story made sense. The over all story *could* have worked, but it contains too many implausible elements. Cinematography, sound and set locations are well done. Unfortunately that cannot save a poor script and weak acting.
Eric Weinstock never ceases to amaze me
First Arlo: The Burping Pig now Blood Circus. When I heard he was writing a new film I was almost like Arlo; I burped joy and happiness. Eric is to screenwriter as Kendrick Lamar is to lyrical mastermind. This is the movie to watch. Forget about Black Panther, Blood Circus is what's up. All the cool kids in school are talking about this movie which is the best fighting film of all time. If you are a kid and want to be cool, you should get on your instachats and snapstagrams and talk about Blood Circus. Eric Weinstock; never forget his name. He also goes by eweinsto and Thor. Back to the movie. Superb! Spectacular! Unreal! Exciting! Outstanding! One-of-a-Kind! Splendid! Superior! Those are only a few words to describe this beautifully put together masterpiece. Yes I said it , this movie is a masterpiece. The actors have great teeth, made great by the writer who also happens to specialize and making root canals disappear. This movie does not disappoint. I went through a full emotional rollercoaster throughout the entire movie. In fact, I loved this movie so much I started screaming Blood Circus in my sleep. (My beautiful wife of 13 years Adrianne told me so). On my way to work I started an Eric Weisntock chant. Yes I may be 40, but I am not ashamed about my life for this feature film. I would recommend this movie to anyone. I would rate it a 69/10 if i could! PS: There should be a video game about this movie. Forget Fortnite, this game will be so much more popular
