Chintakayala Ravi is the story of an Indian software engineer, who goes to America wanting to get employed. But, there, circumstances distance him from his dream, and he has to work as a waiter at bar. His mother assumes that he is a successful engineer back in the USA, and he continues to lie to her in order to not break her heart. However, when his marriage is fixed with a simple village girl. Lavanya, who too believes that he is an American engineer, things start to go haywire. Will he be able to sort the confusion, guard his dignity, and marry Lavanya?
