We Don't Miss Myers...We Miss Good Filmmaking
I know this movie has its defenders, but my lord...it's pretty bad. The lore is atrocious, the motivations are inane, the lead guy is unknowingly despicable...however, that song is perfect.
Baddddddd
This movie isn't bad because it doesn't feature villain Michael Myers. It's bad because the acting is terrible, the song is irritating and the story is stupid. I just tried to get through it as part of a Halloween marathon (I've seen the whole thing before) but it just sucks.
WORST OF THE FRANCHISE!!! NEEDS MYERS DESPERATELY
This laughably terrible, pathetic piece of crap is so beyond awful that after purchasing the complete Halloween blu-ray boxset I threw this cringe-worthy nonsense straight in the trash the second it finished. Absolutely ABYSMAL. I'm sure some tasteless loser fanboy would've paid $100+ for that rare boxset version of this "film", but I genuinely preferred to lose out on the money and send it to the dump where it belongs. Even Rob Zombie's horrendous Halloween 2 is OSCAR WORTHY compared to this B-movie (Z-movie) gorefest failure. Hurry up and add a ZERO out of ten option already, imdb. I feel genuinely bad even giving this a 1/10, which it in NO WAY DESERVES!
this truly is the worst movie ever made...
I think i figured out what they were thinking(what they were smoking, to this day remains a mystery). They were trying to put together another horror that could happen to a town on Halloween. Luckily they had enough sense to bring back Michel Myers in the later instalments because putting on a mask and having bugs come out of no where and suddenly killing you doesn't seem to deserve that many sequels.
It doesn't deserve its name.
Do I really need to say anything else then 'I hate this terrible movie,' everything that was great about one, and good about two has been removed. It looks and feels cheap, and tacky, the first one is so slick, well made, and well filmed, this one looks like a cheap 80's b horror movie, the acting is wooden. You can forgive those elements in a horror film if it has a unique factor, something striking, but no, they've even taken Michael Myers out, result, this isn't Halloween. The plot is thinner then a gnat's shoelace, and it just is truly a sad watch. Every sequel and prequel was superior, even the dreaded Halloween 4 is world's ahead. It makes no sense, it's stupid. Awful movie. 2/10
