Pretty Intense TV movie
This one turned out to be surprisingly good! I love Kristy Swanson and she did an excellent job as the girls protective mother in this film. The entire film had an eerie feeling to it. Definitely recommend
Successful horror for Lifetime!
There are some movies that grip the viewer from the get go and this is one of them. It's not that often that Lifetime movies do that so this is a treat compared to their recent horror ventures. Two teen sisters and their widowed mom move into a house. There is a voodoo doll that casts spells on people. Comes in handy when the younger girl discovers it. It's delightful as she uses it against a school bully, to get a teacher to like her, her mother's nasty colleague etc. But of course with black magic there's a price to pay. Kristy Swanson plays Mom and Brec Bassinger plays the younger daughter well. Hopefully Lifetime horror standards will continue improving like this.
