The Curse of say what?
The Curse of Highway Sheila, which was a blockbuster spending eight weeks on cinema, and not making any money to pay there actors properly, is back to make fun of the Indian legend Sheila. Now, two factors that disappointed the real fans of the legend was this: 1. In The Curse of Highway Sheila, Sheila herself was only shown twice in the film and then it took a turn and focused on another female lead. 2. There was no continues story line. It kept jumping all over the place. Yes! No one is perfect. But, when you say your making a horror and firstly it's not scary, then you failed. The film had all these scenes put into the movie that actually dragged the story which caused people to ask the question, "Could this film end now?" Yes, I must agree with some of the acting which was actually good. Not all. Some. But honestly when going to the cinema expecting to see a horror you expect blood, maybe some jump scares etc. But this wasn't bad because of the budget, this was bad cause it did not have one storyline that it stuck too. It was many story lines thrown into one story that made the film ridiculous. Let's hope the sequel improves and actually does justice to the legend
Fit for international release!
The curse of highway Sheila was a great movie ! This local movie is definitely fit for an international release . Highway Sheila was/is a story that was circulated all around through gossip . But turning it into a movie is something great The direction,acting is mind-blowing . The elements of horror actually scared me, quite freaky ! Overall this is a must watch!
The Curse
The film explored a lot of trademark aspects of the cult. Although it kept true to the story I felt there could of been more focus on Highway Sheila then the red dressed entity. Quality and sound was very good. Some of the acting worked while others didn't. Overall wasn't a scary horror film as Sheila was intended to be. Hena's character was a confused one. Story lacked depth and also did not keep audience engaged or interested. Ending of the film was very nice. Better cast in certain roles should of been thought of. But overall it's a start. The films can get better and I think there is a lot of depth that can be done to make this franchise a global success.
