Good movie! Thriller, and good performance ..
This review may contain spoilers! This is a good movie, and based on a real life incident. It says about controlling your tongue, and shouldn't use unnecessary words. Aadhi as "Saga", and Mithun Chakrabarthy as "Mudhaliyar", Harish Uthaman as "Guna", and Pasupathi as "Deva" gave a splendid performance. The plot keeps the audience at the edge of the seat. It's about a man who tries to rescue his friend and family when words go wrong. The only spoilers are the songs, and their placement. It deviates and we may feel unnecessary. There's no need for the song when they discuss about friends enjoyment, and of course love.. The only thing that pricks my mind is how Saga shot Mudhaliyar. Otherwise it's a good to go movie.
A good movie, but could have been better
This movie shows a lot of potential, but just does not capture the magic Yes, it is a very watchable movie and you will most probably be glad that you did. Yet it does not focus on one direction and keeps you riveted like a movie Indian, Mudalvan, etc. There are few parts in the movie which you don't have to look at screen and still be able to understand what's going on, e.g., Songs. Waste of time seriously Apart from that, the movie starts off with a very intriguing premise like Saroja and works backwards to give you a feel of what was the actions that led to what happens right now, that is kind of cool and now we have a movie. The narration given by hero was really poor, could have not done that at all, apart from that its kind of good. This is the first time i see Aadhi has hero who tries to move away from his macho man, fearless ass-kicker look to a much more refined next door boy look, good attempt. But still has got a lot of work to do. I guess while acting he was trying to get inspirations for comedy from various actors, and nothing from innate skills. He falls low on that, nevertheless it's about time he understands the survival in this industry is about offering variety. None of the cast in this movie has never made a big blockbuster and it shows in their acting, they worked for this movie, but still got lot to learn. The importance given to the heroine is very dismal in this movie, does not rattle the screenplay at all except a few comedy relief and portrayed as a no-fear woman who could have been used in the closure, but for the main message this movie is trying to convey she vanishes after the first half, a bit disappointed. The Cameo performances from some actors who were really good in their brief moment, later formed as a pivotal role in the bigger picture, nice thinking by director. The movie suffers from 2 main flaws: 1. Delering a message: Yes, we have a bigger message - Shut up if you got nothing nice to say. But again that is overshadowed by so many other messages. A Hero who is trying to win the confidence of his dad. A guy who is trying to comprehend the love life and how would he win Friendship is everything. These all worked individually, but together it was a bit confusing. You were supposed to care for them, but next scene something happens, you tend to suspect them. Director should have stuck with one message and just focused on that 2. The Ending: OMG, i rated the movie down for this, there were like 3 different times this movie could have ended, but chose not to. It just went on and on. If it had ended at the first place i would have been really happy, but they made it so convoluted and violent just to give our Hero a toe-to-toe stand with the villain was atrocious. Apart from that, the movie did deliver the message, some comedy relief was enjoyable, the premise is very intriguing and keeps you guessing, amazing cameos who acted very realistically and stole the show. You can leave the movie 20 minutes before and be completely satisfied or watch that and be a little bit less satisfied. Aadhi please be versatile like this and you will go places
